Inspired by Vietnamese craftsmanship, this limited edition of the Do Son Eau de Parfum blends tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom. On the bottle, the illustration appears in cinnabar red, the characteristic hue of Vietnamese lacquer, while the case is a tribute to the traditional art of basketwork. "Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of the Maison, discovered the perfume of tuberoses as a child spending his summers in the Vietnamese village of Do Son.
In the pagoda built by his father, the sea breeze would bring to him the faintly spicy scents of tuberose.
This flower, which his mother so adored, was left in the temples as an offering, wrapped in canna leaves along with jasmine and ylang-ylang.
Such is the story of the Do Son perfume. No wonder one drop is enough to revive memories and rouse the imagination."
